AURORA
Synopsis
One night Aurora (29), a commitment-phobic party animal, meets Iranian Amir (30)at a hot-dog stand in Lapland. Aurora is drunk like she often likes to be and is enjoying her sausage, when Amir suddenly asks Aurora to save his life. In order to find a home, an asylum for himself and his young daughter, Amir needs to marry a Finnish woman. Aurora turns him down, because she is already busy working as a nail technician and saving up money to move to Norway - away from her own shit life. However, after some convincing Aurora accepts the business arrangement in which she will help find Amir a suitable wife. As Aurora introduces numerous and strange Laplandish wife candidates to Amir, in the process they become closer than either of them expected. Then when the perfect wife finally comes along, Amir and Aurora are far from happy. Can they both find the courage to stop running and be true to each other and to themselves?
