LAW OF THE LAND
Synopsis
LAW OF THE LAND takes place in a small village in Western Lapland close to the Swedish border. A soon to be retired policeman, Lasse, finds out that a local criminal, Jaakko, has been released from jail and is on a collision course with Lasse's son, Erkki. While trying to keep two youngsters from hurting one another Lasse falls in the middle of two jobs. He wants to save the boys from each other while also protecting Jaakko from a mob of Swedish assassins. In the middle of this, he has to face his own past and its secrets. The final showdown happens in the deep wilderness of Lapland.
