BECK 37 - UTAN UPPSÅT
Synopsis
A 12-year-old girl goes home from her training to help her mother with her birthday party, but when she comes home she finds her mother lying dead under the stairs. Is it an accident or did anyone want to hurt the single mother of a small girl? It turns out that the small family are in the witness program and have protected identities. During the investigation the case takes several surprising turns. Alex Beijer has his first day as group manager for Steinar, Oskar, Jenny and Ayda. Martin Beck, who is now working as a rotation manager, is very pleased with his new recruitment. Steinar, who was previously been acting group manager, assures Alex that he was never interested in the job, and does his best to make the new situation work. But when he and Alex begin to focus on different tracks in the investigation, the new collaboration is put to the test.
